RHP’s Sustained Engagement — Applications Open
Deadline: 12pm (midday, GMT) 10th September 2026
What it is
A Sustained Engagement is RHP's most significant consultancy relationship. It is deep strategic work for organisations undertaking the kind of structural change that touches everything — programming, governance, income, identity. Not a single decision. Not a defined project. A sustained shift in how the organisation operates, with RHP alongside it throughout.
We take on one Sustained Engagement at a time. The next begins in September 2026.
Who it's for
Organisations at a genuine inflection point. The ones where the honest answer — the model itself needs to change — is something the leadership is ready to hear and act on. The ones with a board and a CEO willing to do the structural work, not just the surface adjustments.
This is not crisis management. It is a strategic partnership for organisations that have identified the need for change before the environment makes the decision for them.
Eligibility
Open to all non-profit theatre companies. Priority given to companies who have engaged with RHP’s consultancy offer already.
The Process
Applications close at 12:00pm (GMT) on 10 September 2026.
To apply:
Step 1 — Complete The Producing Diagnostic (5 mins) at rafiahussain.com/producing-diagnostic to capture a snapshot of your organisation.
Step 2 — At the end of your Diagnostic report, complete the enquiry form and select Sustained Engagement as your engagement type.
That's it. All applicants will be invited to book a one-off Strategy Session (deducted from first invoice if selected) from 1 September onwards — a paid engagement that allows both parties to assess fit and confirm whether the relationship has the right foundation for sustained strategic work.
The successful applicant will be confirmed in autumn 2026, once the right fit is confirmed.
What happens if you’re not selected
There is only one place. Where appropriate, we will discuss a Defined Engagement with applicants who are not selected for the Sustained Engagement.
