Rafia Hussain is an award-winning producer and founder of Rafia Hussain Productions Ltd — a commercial theatre company producing plays, adaptations and musicals that centre Black, Brown & Female joy.

After a decade in the subsidised sector, she made the deliberate move to commercial producing in 2025, and was selected the following year for Stage One's prestigious 5 at 50 programme.
